Balaji Sr. Sec. School makes a point of educating its learners beyond the regular curriculum. Our co-curricular activities edify them with learning in discipline, fitness, team spirit and confidence, and help them develop a well-rounded personality. The objective is to help them develop all qualities that are required to master the art of living and to be their own gurus.

Music

Music serves as an aesthetic and an audio experience. This experience basically involves the mind in an appealing way with the help of sounds. No printed communication, discussion or arithmetical calculation! It is an expression statement by itself. Music is also regarded to be an important part of the curriculum, for the role that it plays in understanding different cultures. 

Art & Craft

Art is an important subject, not only on its own but in the rest of education as well. Experiencing and making works of art benefits students in their intellectual, personal and social development. Research studies point to strong relationships between learning in the arts and fundamental cognitive skills and capacities used to master other core subjects, including reading, writing, and mathematics. The importance of art education is for us to evaluate

ourselves on how we connect with our surroundings. Art plays an important role in almost all aspects of education, from creativity to interpretation to discussion to understanding design. Our art studios are sagas by themselves. 

Events

Besides academics Balaji Sr. Sec. School offers many co-curricular activities to create a positive learning environment which provides students the freedom to learn, grow and to be what they ought to be. A child needs both, freedom and discipline. Freedom inspires creativity and through discipline he finds the correct expression. It is therefore necessary to balance both for personal development.
