Library

 

The library is one place where students would love to visit and sit to improve upon their knowledge base by way of searching the journals, magazines, periodicals, newspaper or subject related books. The library is well equipped with more than 5000 books very well stacked in open shelves for different subjects. The library also stacks Audio-Video CD’s and cassettes related to subject teaching, environment, literature, dance, music, art, wild life and many more.

Computer Lab – the Pride of School
Keeping in pace with the modern times and realizing the importance of Computer Education. Balaji Sr. Sec. School  feels that IT skills have become a necessity owing to the increasing use of computers in our daily life. To achieve this, we have made computer education compulsory from the very beginning. Students have internet access under the strict supervision of Computer Teacher. Work is in progress for providing the facility of wi-fi connectivity to the whole campus.

R/O Water Facility

R/O water is available as Drinking water in the campus to keep students free fom water-borne diseases.

Canteen
The School canteen remains open during the afternoon time for about two hours and it is ensured that the students consume wholesome snacks, soft drinks, hot refreshments and other fresh items.

Activity Centre
Learning beyond the classroom is the emphasis of Balaji Sr. Sec. School . An outdoor activity center houses the facilities for enhancing the creative and inquisitive aspects of students. It also helps them in learning to live with nature and in turn protect and nurture the environment. The school has a big activity room which is equipped with educational toys and games to enchant the tiny tots. A special attention is given to facilitate their overall growth so that they can play, release and socialize in a stress free environment through a series of well coordinated activities.
Following activities are very fondly taken up by the students:-

Clay Modeling, Wood Work, Paper Recycling, Bird Watching, Philately, Electronics, Paper Craft, Drama, Journalism, Metal Work, Sculpture etc.

Laboratories

To ensure an ambience for innovative, creative and contemporary pedagogy, the theory classes are being supplemented with practical knowledge. For this, regular lab sessions are held under the guidance of trained lab instructor. In addition to the mandatory laboratories for Physics, Chemistry & Biology, the school also has separate well-equipped Maths Lab, Geography and English Language Lab.

Vibrant Campus
On visiting the school, one is stuck by the lush green campus, the architectural beauty and soothing ambience. Far from the hustle and bustle of towns and cities, the essence of Indian ethos is so immaculately preserved that it would not be an exaggeration to call RPS an epitome of Gurukul System in tune with modern times.

An ideal Teacher-Student ratio (1:15) ensures that each student gets personal attention. Professionally competent and dedicated faculty having a single-minded objective to bring out the best in all the children entrusted to their care.

Play ground is a different tool of education altogether. Besides the game it teaches team spirit, determination, focus and management. Above all it imparts the winning spirit. For all these reasons and more-All work along with lots of play, is the school mantra as far as sports go.

Students are encouraged to take part in games on a regular basis. Students represent the school in various tournaments at different inter-school and state levels.

Students begin with their preliminary training in sports right there under expert trainers.

School Bus 

  • Transport facilities are provided for the convenience of the students, although it is not an obligatory service of the school.
  • Buses will be available only on the routes and at stops fixed by the school and any request for new stops will not be entertained. However, the school reserves the right to make any change if found inevitable.
  • Students travelling by the school bus should always be in proper school uniform and in possession of the school ID card with proper bus number failing which, they will not be allowed to board the bus.
  • Students must report at the scheduled stop 5 minutes before the bus arrival time.
  • Students must travel only by the bus allocated to them.
